Pearla Biamba Mutombo, (May 28, 1986) is an African Model, Activist and Actor. She has been modeling and acting in the city of New Orleans since 2003. She founded The Pearla Mutombo Foundation "Autism Where Hope Lives", non-profit that focuses on aiding local children, young adults and families dealing with Autism and PProductionInc Modeling Ageny Management, who's objective is to find and develop the next generation of talent. it serve as an industry follower by providing full-spectrum model management for women,men,full figured, fitness&children models.

She is an aspiring Law Student, she's currently attending Tulane Law School- pursuing a dual degree a JD, in International Law: trade and commerce and an MBA in Linguistic and architecture. Mutombo Also holds an M.A.T from Xavier UniversityMutombo has released her modeling portfolio on modelmayhem.com, talenthouse.com, exploretalent.com, facebook.com, tumblr.com, about.me and various media outlets. She aspire helping people the best way she can by working together with those she meets.

Pearla Biamba Mutombo was Born in Zaire, in the city of Kinshasa, now called Democratic Republic of Congo, (DRC Congo). she was born to Bridgette Makuma and Selou Ntumba. Her mother was a shoe collector who owned a shoe shop. Her father an entrepreneur, who owned and operated a family business Taxi cab company called "Big Time". Though her parents were never married, Mutombo grew up in middle class family with her half sister Edith and her grand-mother, Mama Mbuta.

She grew up in a rather loving family, until tragedy struck her family in the summer of 1992. At the tender age of 8, she lost her mother to pneumonia. Being forced to relocate to her father's extended family. Mutombo spent the next years, being shuffled from different households with extend relatives.

At 18 years of age, a month before her high school graduation, she received a phone call notifying her of her father's passing of a heart attack. With these tragedies, Mutombo made the best of what she could. In spite of being abandoned and cut off from the family, by her distant relatives right after the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, she did not fall short of her goals.

Mutombo went on and got involved in various community outreach, such as the Big Brother Big Sister Program Kingsley House, participating in the Alpha Phi Alpha Scholarship Pageant and even starting her own non-profit foundation and modeling management agency without looking back at her own tragedies and only looking forward.

She said "the best lessons that I've learned in life was accepting that I was an orphan and knowing that I could only count on myself and no one else." She started aggressively pursuing modeling in the summer of 2006, with the acquaintances of local photographer/friend Carlton Mickle Photography, Brian Perkins (PerKOgraphy), Jafar Pierre and Designer Carolina Gallop.

Mutombo also served as a teacher, a director Sunday school and volunteer at Christ Church Cathedral and St. Anna's Episcopal Church. She has been apart of the New Orleans Recovery School District, by teaching math to grades 1-8. She was an Early Childhood Montessori French Teacher at Audubon Charter Gentilly. Furthermore, She's a supporter of the New Orleans Public Library foundation and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. And She worked as Magistrate Secretary at Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.

In May of 2010, she received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism and Pre-law; and a minor in 18th Century French Literature. She is fluent in five different languages (English, French, Spanish, German(basic) and two African native languages). In Fall of 2012, She attended Tulane University Law School. In April 2019, She Earned a Certificate at Agenda For Children in PreK-K Marking the Most of Classroom Interaction. She holds an M.A.T. in Curriculum Instructions with a specification in Special Education From Xavier University of Louisiana 

She quotes one of her many icon, Maya Angelou who said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
